Google Business Photos

Are you on a shopping spree?

Google maps offering "pre shopping view" you can get a 3d view of the streets you planning to shop.

Now & Future

Today you only see the "exterior" it might help for window shopping only. Local merchants on Google maps are informing us that Google is planning to add new features by using the same technology application offering the consumer the interior view of brick & mortar boutiques. They scheduled a photo shoot from our store inside taking picture of how the baby clothes are displayed and what the customer sees when entering the store. Interviewing what the customer’s interest, top sellers, how knowledgeable sales staff acting likes a personal shopper by helping a new mom or moms-to-be a layaway package by filling out a baby check list or signing up a baby registry. It looks like it’s important for Google to give people a full understanding of what is available at this particular address. We hope they are only aiming public places. Can't imagine when google'ing a phone number the search results will give you the full information: The person or business name, address, plus personal images of her/him with a view his house (exterior) from the sky (Google earth), then the interior of his home bedroom, dining room, living room, closets especially his clothing wardrobe. It’s definitely the future. Comments, questions email info@littleloungers.com

Women and Girls Modest Clothes by Design

Designer Modest Clothes for Women & Girls

Back in the beginning of the 19th century people were dressed in classic styled apparel. Take a peak on these old fashioned posters and portraits people seem to be happier with traditional and classic clothes. There were no cell phones, internet, etc. More family time.

Think about what has changed in that time: cell phones, email, instant and constant connect with no down time. Men and Women are more into Mental Work then Pysical. Not so very long ago people listened to music or books on tape during their commutes, using that time to decompress from the stresses of work or home. Shopping was done without a phone stuck to or in your ear. Instead, you let your mind wander and smiled at or even chatted with other people as you chose your items or stood in line. When out on a date or with friends, you focused on who you were with and enjoyed their company rather than trying to live as if you are ten places at once through calls and text messages. When you left work for the day, you LEFT, leaving your work behind. Not so anymore for a lot of people. This is the world our kids are growing up in, one that has an artificial sense of urgency in our need to be constantly connected. It's like people can't stand to be left to their own company anymore. Remember when people turned off the phone at dinner or just didn't answer? No television, no computer, no game boy, no iPod....just time spent connecting with your family. Technology is great, but it should be used to work for you, not as a leash around your neck. No wonder kids feel stress, they're just copying us. Now we need to show them how to turn off the technology and enjoy the quiet, too.
Relax in!!! Stress out!!!

Rachel of Brooklyn NY used to spend hours in shopping malls and boutiques sifting though racks of the latest "low cut," "too short" and "see-through" styles. She wanted to spend the money in her wallet to buy her wardrobe, but week after week, she came home empty-handed and frustrated.

She wanted to be modest, but she also wanted to be cute and fashionable.

"I think it is OK to be modest and beautiful at the same time ... but I couldn't find anything to even cover me,"

All she needed, she decided, was the right undershirt that would cover everything she didn't want to show off. Then she could wear the current clothing trends on top of her basic tee and not worry about being uncomfortable.

But since no clothing stores were selling such an item, she recommended her friend who’s talented in style and fashion to start manufacture garment that is "Modest with Chic"

She started sketching designs and testing fabrics plus research vendors like Petit Bateau from France who have 100 years experience manufacturing soft long, cap-sleeve tees and even longer high-cut tank tops that were selling in our boutique in May 1996.

We started the project so I would have something to wear, but I soon realized that if I needed it, my friend and family of needed it, too,"

The Jewish Law asks women not to wear short skirts or body fitting tees and to "refrain from wearing low-cut neck openings, and other revealing attire,"

"Tznius" is what Jewish women and girls wear.

Within a few months, their basement was filled with their new niche product, and they were ready to sell long sleeve tees and blouses online. They started with four girl's and four women's styles of skirts with after the knee lengths.

Over the next few years, business grew, and the company expanded out of the basement and into two brick and mortar stores, one of which is located in Boro Park on Thirteen Ave.

"We learned fast to just listen to the customers," he said. "They know what they want, and they have all the good ideas."

And what many Boro Park and Williamsburg customers want is more than just After the Knee Dresses, Jumpers, and Skirts. Little Loungers now carries long camisole tank tops, skirts. Carol said Little Loungers is also developing new products to give local women and girls what they need in order to feel comfortable in everyday clothes.

"Our theme and our goal are to keep Jewish girls and women happy and comfortable," Rivki said. We make today’s fashion & style to a higher level of modesty. "We want to be modest, to have strong homes and raise good children.

Orthodox Jewish women buy ankle-length skirts, long-sleeved shirts and shietlich (wigs) to cover their heads.

The modest fashion industry continues to expend among Jewish Women & Girls in Israel, London, Australia, and U.S.A. Recently, more companies are popping up that focus on modest casual wear.

One such company, ShabbosDress.com, was started by New York residents Zissy and Carol Weiss, who nearly ten years ago joked about starting a business. They asked each other what they would sell and how. The next thing they knew, they had finished griping about how Carol could never find after the knee-length skirts, and they were off looking for manufacturers.

Jewish tradition brings us back to the olden times back in Europe Small Township more friendly and dressed like a queen.

We’ll delve into key trends, pull together outfits for every occasion and have a hoot while we play with the finest wardrobe known to Moms and Baby.

It’s the wardrobe created by Petit Bateau. Since these intrepid explorers burst on to the kids’ fashion scene, they’ve trekked around the world on their quest to bring us the most coveted brands imaginable. They’ve scooped up the highly-prized classics and sought out fresh, new talent.
Their mission? To hunt down luxury quality and exquisite design for their divine one-stop-online-shop. Their approach? To build a brand that’s rather like them; international, discerning and passionate about what works for kids.

So, I’ll be your guide. Hop on board while we unearth those must-have pieces. I’ve had years of fun pulling together collections as a kids’ fashion buyer, writing about the pint-sized gorgeousness each season and testing pieces on the harshest of all critics – my own kids.

And even they have been giggling with delight. Because whatever your style – you’ll find it here. You might yearn for kids dressing like kids. Or relish styling your very own hip mini-me. It might have to be cool or quirky, classic or contemporary, understated or in-your-face to ring your bell. There’s only one rule: it has to be the ‘best in class’ to make the grade on to this website. Now, buckle up, because there are styles aplenty to try on for size.

And who wouldn’t want to play sophisticated dress-up? Your kids can try cutting-edge, contemporary outfits, a Victorian vintage vibe or dial it down with geek chic styling; and all before lunchtime. Face it, we want them to be fearless and confident and willing to try new things. And while they swap between being pioneers of the park and theatre-going sophisticates – they are learning to do just that.

We’ll navigate through this exceptional dressing-up box. From the comfort of your own home too. No tiresome travel, no fruitless searching and absolutely, positively no tantrums. Exploring cherry-picked collections, served up in a place where we can browse and shop while our kids play or sleep. What’s not to like?

As luck would have it, it’s a scene-stealer of a season. This Autumn, it’s all about channelling yesteryear with some stunning retro trends. Boys and Girls can pick between looking Formal, Classic, Traditional in v-neck cardigans and wool pin stripe pants/skirts or working the uniform look perfect for school.
